The XR-2000™ video
measurement system measures dimensions of the image of an object
displayed on a video monitor. Video measurement is an ideal way to
measure objects that are too small or too irregular in shape to be
measured using conventional tools. It is an excellent way to measure
any object when repeatability, speed, and cost effectiveness are
important. A system normally consists of an XR™ video measurement
system, a video camera, and a monitor. Applications abound in
research, quality control, and processing in almost every discipline
and industry.
The Pixilator™ control system (patent pending) is a major improvement
in precisely positioning measurement graphics on the video monitor,
and it is available only from Imagen. When in the Pixilator™ mode you
can move a measurement marker precisely one pixel at a time, every
time, with a simple click of a mouse button. You get a consistency
not possible with a joy stick, trackball, conventional mouse or even
precision controllers. And, Pixilator™ control eliminates the
ubiquitous problems of sloppy response inherent in a mouse and other
controllers.
