BACK LIGHTING - The forming of a clear silhouette of an object by placing a light source behind it. Used when the surface features of an object are not critical. Used in microscopy and machine vision (metrology) systems to make the specimen appear dark against a bright background.

 

Whether our BACKLIGHTS are used with a strobe or with FOSTEC’s LIGHT SOURCES, BRIGHT, EVEN, illumination is produced. Intensity can be adjusted and/or controlled to meet requirements for both quantity and quality of light.

 

Flexible PVC covered metal tubing protects the fiber bundle. Compact, sturdy black anodized aluminum housing holds the diffusing panel.
